Our Pathologists

Dr Candy Ng completed her PhD study in molecular cell biology in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry University of Cambridge in 2007, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. She received her chemical pathology, toxicology, and clinical genetic training at the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Toxicology Reference Laboratory (territory level clinical toxicology laboratory) in Hong Kong. Dr Ng obtained her fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2019. She has played an active role in teaching technical and medical staff and has been a part-time lecturer teaching Master in Science in Medical Laboratory Science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr Ng relocated to Australia in 2022 and is currently working as a chemical pathologist at Australian Clinical Labs. Her research interests and publications include work on clinical and analytical toxicology, as well as analytical interference on biochemical tests.
