About

Dr Natalie Dixon completed her Anatomical Pathology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, before moving to Cairns Base Hospital as a Consultant Pathologist with Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology in 2013. Her initial focus was to develop a high level of diagnostic independence and foster strong ties with referring specialists and general practitioners.

Her commitment in this field culminated in her being awarded the International Board Certificate in Dermatopathology (2019) by the International Committee for Dermatopathology (ICDP).

In 2021, she relocated to Canberra to join Capital Pathology and relished her role as a senior mentor, elevating diagnostic standards, particularly in regards to dermatopathology and gastrointestinal pathology. She continued to cultivate her passion for sharing knowledge and expertise by delivering undergraduate pathology lectures for the Australian National University Medical School, including playing an integral role in relaunching an ACT-wide pathology registrar training program within the Canberra public health system.
