Our Pathologists

Dr Teresa Chua is a qualified Anatomical Pathologist with comprehensive training and experience in diagnostic surgical pathology, cytopathology and laboratory management. She completed her Master of Pathology at the University of Malaya in 2021 and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK) in 2023. She served as Head of the Anatomical Pathology Unit at a state tertiary hospital in her hometown. Her clinical practice covers a broad range of subspecialties, including haematolymphoid, gastrointestinal, gynaecological, genitourinary, head and neck, breast and neuropathology. Teresa is actively engaged in multidisciplinary team meetings, oncology tumour boards and professional conferences. Beyond her diagnostic practice, she has significant involvement in medical laboratory accreditation, quality assurance, digital pathology and laboratory setup in regional areas. She is a strong advocate of mindful medical leadership, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect and diversity. She remains committed to advancing the field of pathology while upholding the values of excellence in patient care and service to the community.
